The Modern Approach Sewing School directed by Janet Moville offers a wide range of sewing classes and courses from our brand new custom built studio in Farington.
Courses include dressmaking, tailoring, pattern fitting, bridal wear, lingerie, designer bags, soft furnishings and computer embroidery. The school provides a mixture of scheduled sewing classes, one and half day sewing courses and mini breaks, all in an informal, friendly atmosphere.
Sewing classes are a combination of demonstration, explanation and tuition, allowing students to experience the emphasis of practical hands-on work.
Small classes, outstanding facilities and one to one tuition cater for all levels of ability for those wishing to develop and improve their sewing skills.
You will learn vital sewing techniques and gain in-depth knowledge to help you produce your own professionally tailored clothing, soft furnishings and accessories.
Janet Moville is the founder of the school with over forty years experience, having sewn since childhood. Her down to earth approach will put you instantly at ease. Classes offer professional tuition at affordable prices.
This year 2017, brings some exciting new changes with the re-location to a brand new purpose built Sewing Studio in Farington, Leyland allowing the opportunity to offer a greater variety of classes to suit all ages, abilities and incomes.
The single storey studio in Stevenson Ave, Farington, Leyland has ample free parking right outside the door and is a superb location in which to improve sewing skills.
