The perfect finish on a garment starts with a perfect beginning. A great deal of advice on how to eliminate that home made look. The taking of accurate measurements will be demonstrated and fitting alterations will also be discussed. Small scale pattern samples will be made, revealing the secret of achieving a perfect fit! Fabric and interfacing preparation, pressing, balance darts, inverted pleats, and perfectly shaped collars will also be discussed and samples made. You will need scissors that cut paper for this course.
