What a complement!

Happy new year.
I hope that you don't mind me writing to you, but I have finally got round to taking some pictures of the jacket I made on your speed tailoring course, and I thought that you might like to see it. I am also enclosing the next jacket (Mccalls 5859 in Liberty cotton twill) made following what I had learnt - it has plastrons and sleeve heads and is interfaced in Vilene G785, I made the piping myself.
I am thrilled with both - my sister thought it an act of supreme self control when the jacket I made with you was complimented by an assistant in Jigsaw and I resisted pointing out that I had made it myself. I think that my sewing has made a step change improvement with all the things I picked up with you, so thank you very much. My next project is a chanel-style shape in a Linton tweed. This got me to wondering if you would be running your Chanel-chic course this year, can I register an interest if you were to get sufficient like-minded people.
Best Wishes and Thanks again.
