Meet Daniel and Lisa who attended classes recently. Daniel made a bespoke tie in the workshop on Saturday 21 February whilst Lisa, who enrolled on a block of weekly classes, completed a variety of projects from soft furnishings to garments, including the dress in pretty floral fabric pictured here.
The dress has a fitted bodice, gathered skirt and short sleeves. Lisa learned how to fit an invisible zip and applied custom made bias binding to the neckline.
Nicola, who was too modest to be photographed attended the same workshop as Daniel and made this very professionally finished and lined tote shopper.
I’m sure you’ll agree, they all deserve credit for their hard work. Well done all!

Nicola Wright – I thoroughly enjoyed the sewing course for beginners and was very proud to be taking home my very own shopping bag! A great sense of achievement learning a new skill in a relaxed and friendly environment. Worth every penny for the new skills I have learnt and the confidence the day has given me. Looking forward to continuing to develop my new found hobby with more classes in the future! Thank you to Janet and Louise (along with the rest of the class!) for a fantastic day! See you soon xx
